The simply elegent, light weight, palm sized CINCH is uncomplicated and easy to use. Open (like a pulley), drop the rope in and clip to your harness' belay loop with a locking biner. If your leader whips (or your top rope partner needs to sit down for a rest) the CINCH will automatically lock onto the rope - taking the bite out of catching a fall. When used with skinny single ropes or when catching a high factor fall the CINCH responds dynamically, letting some rope slip to reduce the shock load to the system.
