And thanks to a new insulating material (polyester EVA), the folks at Salomon were able keep the boot’s weight low without sacrificing function.

- ClimaTherm HD technology uses a new material, polyester EVA, to achieve a thin, lightweight insulation layer for use in temperatures between 20F and -13F (-7C and -25C)
- Waterproof breathable bootie insert keeps the wet weather outside where it belongs and allows your foot sweat to evaporate
- ContraGrip outsole technology uses a mix of lug geometry and different rubber densities to improve grip on wet, icy surfaces
- Rubber toe and heel caps improve durability and block water and slush
