Climbing shoes are typically worn smaller than street shoes. For trad and moderate shoes, size down 1–2 sizes. For aggressive shoes and slippers, La Sportiva recommends sizing down 2–3 sizes from your street shoe size. Keep in mind that unlined shoes stretch about one full size with break-in; lined shoes stretch about half a size.
