Climb, have fun & serve the community—

How Send Fest Works

1. Pick up your token duck! Available after 4pm on Thursday, or after 8am on Friday or Saturday.

2. Starting 8am Friday, climb as many routes as you can with your buddies. Outdoors only, anywhere in Utah.

3. Log your sends! For it to count, you'll take a picture of you & your duck at the chains & tag us @pandorefitters on Instagram*

4. Join us at the afterparty, 4:30 PM on April 12th. Collect your raffle tickets, one per verified send, and enjoy pizza and prize drawings. Prizes will be given out in person — you must be present in order to win!

*if you don't have Instagram, come early to the afterparty to show us your pictures in person.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to register in advance?

If you wish to participate in either of the off-site classes (Intro to Dry Tooling or Gym to Crag), the deadline to register is Thursday April 10 by 9pm.

If you don't wish to participate in the classes, advance registration is recommended, but not required. You may sign up at the Pando Refitters register starting Thursday April 10 at 4pm.

Can I do this solo?

Points are earned at the individual level, but all climbing must be done with a belay partner.

I'm a beginner — can I participate?

Absolutely! Routes will vary in difficulty. You're encouraged to find ones that match your skill level. Whether you're climbing, or just along for the ride, you're welcome to join!

Do I need equipment?

You're responsible for bringing your own equipment.

Indoor routes?

Send Fest is outdoors only.

Multi-pitch?

Sure! Each pitch counts as a separate route.

How do I prove I've climbed the routes?

We'll be doing verification through Instagram stories — take a selfie at the top, tag us, and we'll add points to your tally.

Don't have Instagram? Come a little early to the after party and show us your pictures in person.

Either way a phone is required (sorry, we can't paper and pencil this one)

Any other route restrictions?

One picture per route climbed. You have to actually climb the route bottom to top, no hiking around (honor system).

Can I win more than one prize?

Yep. Every route you climb gets you a raffle ticket. You can win more than one prize!

What's the refund policy?

Because this is a fundraising event with 100% of proceeds going to support climbing access in the Wasatch Mountains, we will not be offering refunds for any reason. However, you're welcome to transfer your registration to a friend.
